IMPORTANT NOTICE FOR VISA APPLICANTS DEPENDING ON THE ORAN CENTER
As of Sunday, February 2, 2025, appeals against Spanish visa refusal decisions will no longer be
submitted to the BLS International center.
This procedure will now be handled by the Consulate General of Spain in Oran, effective from
February 2, 2025.

(Spanish Visa Application Centres in Algiers and Oran)
1. FAMILY APPOINTMENTS
- Mandatory Appointment for Minors Under 12 Customers applying as a family at the Algiers and Oran Visa Application Centres must make
an appointment for their minor children under 12.
- Up to 8 family members can be booked in a single appointment on our website.
- Exceptions
- For Oran: Parents holding a valid Spanish visa of more than 3 months can apply for a
visa for their children under 18 without an appointment.
- For Algiers: Only minors under 12 are accepted without an appointment if the
parents have a valid Spanish visa, and this is possible on Sundays and Tuesdays only.
2. NEW APPOINTMENT CATEGORIES (Effective from 01 November 2024)
Starting 01 November, appointments booked from 15 November 2024 for Schengen visas on the
BLS International website will be divided into four categories. Please ensure you select the correct
category based on your most recent Schengen visa:
1. ORAN 1 / ALG 1
- For applicants who have never obtained a Schengen visa
- OR for applicants who obtained a Schengen visa before 2020.
2. ORAN 2 / ALG 2
- For applicants whose last Schengen visa was obtained after 1 January 2020
- Valid for less than six months.
3. ORAN 3 / ALG 3
- For applicants whose last Schengen visa was obtained after 1 January 2020
- Valid for a period of 6 months to less than 2 years.
4. ORAN 4 / ALG 4
- For applicants whose last Schengen visa was obtained after 1 January 2020
- Valid for a period of 2 years or more.
Important Note
- For ALG 2, 3, and 4, applicants must provide a copy of their most recent visa on the day of
application.
- If you select a category that does not match your visa history, you will not be accepted at
the centre and no service fee refund will be provided.
- Spouses, direct ascendants, and descendants may apply in the same file (after booking their
own appointments) up to a maximum of 8 people per family.
3. NEW DAILY APPOINTMENT RELEASE
- From Saturday, 07 September 2024, new appointments for the Oran Visa Application Centre
will be opened every day at 8:00 p.m..
4. BEWARE OF FRAUD & FAKE CHANNELS
- Official Website Only
The only official way to book an appointment is through our website. It is free of charge and
does not require any intermediary.
- Fake Social Media Alerts
Be cautious of fake social media channels or individuals claiming to be BLS employees or
offering false information about procedures.
- Legal Action
BLS International reserves the right to take legal action against anyone engaging in
fraudulent practices or tarnishing its image.
- Protect Your Personal Data
Do not share personal information (credit card details, facial videos, etc.) with anyone. BLS
International is constantly working to improve the system to make it more user-friendly.
5. APPLICATION TIMELINE
- You can apply for a visa to Spain 6 months before your planned date of departure.
6. MANDATORY ORIGINAL BUSINESS DOCUMENTS
Effective from 09 April 2023 (and from 21 May 2023 at the Oran centre), applicants are required to
present the following original business documents to the counter agent when applying:
- Trade Register
- C20
- Extract from the roll
- CASNOS and CNAS updates
- Certificate of existence
- Approval for liberal profession / Installation decision / Farmer’s certificate or card
For Families
- Original family record book, accompanied by a copy and a family record form.
Translations
- Copies of these documents must be submitted with your application.
- All documents must have a French or Spanish translation.
7. VISA APPLICATION SERVICE FEE & OPTIONAL SERVICES
- Visa Application Service Fee
The service fee for a Spanish visa is 2,360 DA (as instructed by the Consulate of the Kingdom
of Spain in Algiers and Oran).
- VUpdated Prices for Optional Services (from 07/02/2023)
- Mail within the Wilaya (Algiers/Oran): 1,400 DA
- Mail outside the Wilaya (Algiers/Oran): 2,000 DA
- Photos: 330 DA
- Photocopy: 15 DA per page
- SMS: 220 DA
- Premium lounge: 4,620 DA
- Mobile biometrics: 23,500 DA
8. NEW PROCEDURE FOR APPOINTMENTS (Effective from 10 January 2023)
1. Online Payment with Your Own Card
- After selecting and confirming your appointment, you must pay the service fee
online using your own CIB or Edahabia card.
- You must present this same card on the day of your appointment.
- If you fail to comply (e.g., you pay with a third-party card), your appointment will be
cancelled and you will not be accepted at the Visa Application Centre.
2. Family Exception
- Families (Husband, Wife, minor children, Father, Mother) are allowed to pay all fees
using one single CIB or Edahabia card.
- The cardholder must present the original card at the time of deposit.
- Any fees paid by a third-party card are non-refundable.
9. GENERAL INFORMATION (ORAN CENTRE)
- From 13 October 2022
Applicants who depend on the Consulate General of Spain in Oran must book visa
appointments on our website: https://algeria.blsspainvisa.com/
- Parental Authorization for Minors
- A parental authorization signed by both parents at the town hall is required for a
minor applying alone or accompanied by only one parent.
- If the minor is applying alone, he/she must submit a letter explaining the reasons for
the parents’ absence.
10. STRICT PROHIBITION ON THIRD-PARTY APPOINTMENTS
- Appointments are free and can be booked directly by applicants.
- Using a false email ID, a temporary email, or an email not belonging to the applicant will
result in a denial of entry to the Visa Centre.
- Providing a false or agency phone number will also result in denial of service.
11. FAMILY APPOINTMENT BOOKING MODULE
- The family appointment booking module is strictly reserved for families.
- A family record will be requested on the day of application.
12. PROCESSING OF SCHENGEN VISA APPLICATIONS
- All civil status documents (e.g., family record form) must be originals and translated into
French or Spanish.
- Any falsified document will result in immediate refusal and the applicant’s details will be
shared with all Schengen Member States.
